Cupid and Psyche vs The Frog Prince

Cupid and Psyche is about a girl named Psyche who was so beautiful that Venus was jealous of her and sent her son, Cupid, to curse her but he fell in love with her instead. Everyone knows the Frog Prince story but these two tales have more in common than you think. In both stories, the frog prince and Cupid have different outward appearances. In the Frog Prince, he is seen as a frog verses in the other tale, Cupid hides his appearance and lies to her saying he's a monster. Both girls in the story try to hurt them. In the Frog Prince, the princess throws the frog against the wall and soon regrets it because she sees that he's handsome. In Cupid and Psyche, Psyche almost stabs him until she sees that he's beautiful. In both stories, the girls are the youngest and most beautiful.
